It's Friday, so I thought I'd pop a couple of links onto the blog for weekend viewing.
Shirl's Garden is a blog I regularly dip into and a microcosm of wildlife gardening ephemera. Not least the antics of her blue tits as caught on Nest-Cam. First egg now laid, so if you are interested have a look at;

Also, moving up the food chain slightly, the RSPB have a Goshawk Cam installed in the New Forest, 4 eggs are in the nest;

Have a good weekend
Shirl- where does she get the time! She must be like a whirl wind.
ReplyDeleteHi there Border, thanks for the link. I'll check out the other now too :-D
ReplyDeleteWe now have three eggs and yesterday I posted footage of the second one being laid. I was up at 5am and nearly missed it!!!
Anyone interested can see the full 2008 story of our Nestbox on this link http://blog.shirlsgardenwatch.co.uk/2008/04/camera-nestbox-2008.html.
LOL - I have a magic wand ST :-D
Wishing you both a great weekend :-D
ST - yes it's a good site, well worth keeping tabs on
ReplyDeleteShirl - great news re the eggs, I'll have a look soon. No blogging this weekend as at Malvern RHS Spring Show, which was glorious.
Caught your blog comment on snowgoosey. Beautiful pics. Why don't I find blogs like this when I "hit" the Next Blog key? We have two cardinal eggs being tended at about waist hight in the back yard. Wood ducks, blue heron, mallards, fox and deer all within the city limits of a rather large town! I'll save your blog on my favorites list. Thanks for the wonderful sights.
ReplyDeleteThank you montaguepiedaterre, always wonderful to get comments from unknown areas. I'm guessing the USA is you have wood ducks? I hope you will enjoy what's here over the coming visits and also on the Art and Gardening blog I do. Best BR
