What an absolutely fabulous few months away with work. Sadly precious little time to blog. However things are slowly slowing down, I hope therefore to write up some of my trips to see, migrating moths in Cornwall, Black Fallow Deer rut in Devon, Bar Tailed Godwits on the Exe estuary, Ancient Trees in Herefordshire, a fabulous Raven Roosts in Shropshire and to cap it all 3 days on the Isle of Islay recording geese, which were then topped by a Sea Eagle and finally 20 choughs flying overhead. Sadly I missed the 500+ Waxwings on the Island.
So for the moment, as I catch my breath, a shot of barnacle geese flying over the RSPB's Loch Gruinatr reserve last week..... fabulous!
